Also they don't really absorb the urine so I use 2 of them in one go. When I used only one for her, by the time we got to the pool, her wheelchair seat was soaking wet already. So this is really just for not bulking up in the water not to absorb the urine. Also be aware that there is a huge difference between size S and M. They should start making the same swim nappies like Huggies but for adults.

We understand your frustration, but we would like to reassure you: it is actually completely normal that these nappies do not absorb urine before entering the water. Swim nappies (like Swimmates) are specifically designed not to absorb liquids from the outside, otherwise they would instantly fill up with pool water and become too heavy. Their main purpose is to retain solids while in the water. To avoid accidents on the way to the pool, we highly recommend putting on a regular nappy for the journey and changing into the Swimmates swim nappy just before entering the water.
